The season of Solidarity in Democracy will run from this Sunday, August 16, 2026 until every vote counts with the seating of all newly elected representatives in January 2027 to finalize the election cycle.
We will be focusing on:
PRAYER VIGILS (throughout the season) for a free, fair, and safe election cycle for all.
ELECTION PREPARATION (through election day) – resources for being prepared to vote and nonpartisan support of our community to prepare.
ELECTION SUPPORT (election day through the seating of the newly elected) – resources for getting involved in nonpartisan voter protection, until every vote counts.
Voting is a sacred duty in honoring human dignity and the free will God has given us. The Micah Solidarity Project of Northeast Florida is proud to be cooperating with other nonpartisan organizations in efforts to ensure that no person that is eligible to vote faces vulnerabilities when exercising this right and responsibility, and that every elected person is democratically seated, making every vote count.
